Privacy Policy

ToolKITZ keeps your stuff on your Mac. There's no account to create and nothing you put in the drawer is uploaded to us.
Stays on your Mac
- Files on the shelf, clipboard history, notes, to-dos and your settings are stored only on your Mac. If you choose an iCloud Drive folder for notes, Apple syncs them between your Macs.
- Keys you add for connected services are kept in your Mac's Keychain.
- Text Capture reads text from your screen on your Mac. Screenshots aren't sent anywhere.
What we do collect
- A random install ID. ToolKITZ makes a random ID the first time it runs. It's used only to know whether that Mac has Pro. It isn't linked to your name or your Mac's serial number.
- Your email, if you buy. Link gives us the email you paid with and what you bought, so we can unlock Pro on your Macs, send you sign-in codes and answer support emails.
We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for ads.
Services we use
- Stripe and Link process payments and keep payment records as the merchant of record (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the server that checks purchases.
- Resend sends the sign-in code emails.
When ToolKITZ goes online
Some modules fetch information directly from public services: Weather (Open-Meteo), Currency (open.er-api.com) and Stocks (Yahoo Finance). Modules you connect to your own accounts (Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Plausible and others) and the AI Assistant (Anthropic, with your own key) send requests straight from your Mac to those services. We don't see or store any of it.
Your choices
Delete the app and its data any time. To have your purchase record removed, email hello@toolkitz.app. We keep payment records only as long as the law requires.
